Delicious Low Sugar Margarita

I always picture a summer in Houston at a Tex-Mex patio enjoying my favorite combination nachos and a margarita. Unfortunately, I have not been to any patios this season but I have been making this low sugar margarita at home and eating it with a bowl of my ceviche recipe (anther no fail combination).

This low-sugar margarita is slightly sweet and incredibly smooth thanks to the top notch tequila I used.Unlike a restaurant margarita or store-bought mix, this easy 4 ingredient recipe will not spike your blood sugar. The trick is to only have one!

Best Low Sugar Margarita

My guilt-free recipe for my favorite drink: the margarita!

  • 5 juice Limes
  • Pez Powder/Salt (for the rim)
  • 2 jiggers Tequila Blanco (I use Casamigos Tequila Blanco, it is so smooth)
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 shaker (you can also use a mason jar or any clean jar with a lid to shake your drink)
  • 2 tbsp agave syrup (for a sugar free margarita use STEVIA, agave syrup is low glycemic)
  1. Shake everything for 30 seconds & ENJOY! 🍹¡SALUD! *This tequila makes for a super smooth margarita. You’ll get a tart—not too sweet concoction—so easy to drink & make.
