The Bold Voice Behind Lipstick and Brunch 💄🥂

Hola! I’m Nicole — a Honduran-born, lipstick-loving, brunch-obsessed storyteller living life loud in Houston, Texas! I’m a Type 1 Diabetes warrior, mom, wife, photographer, and proud bilingual Latina who’s never met a bold lip color she didn’t love.

Born and raised in the heart of Central America, I grew up as the oldest of four in a lively, bilingual household. My creative journey started early, leading me to become the first woman head photographer at a national newspaper in Honduras — where I also wore the hats of makeup artist and beauty columnist for print magazines.

After moving to Texas at 24, I traded magazine deadlines for a new adventure: blogging! Lipstick and Brunch was born in 2012 while prepping for a wedding away from home and craving a creative outlet that blended my passions for beauty, storytelling, and photography.

Fast-forward to today: I married the love of my life, I have a wonderful son who is my world, dancing salsa with my husband is how we manage to have date night every week because we’re huge Dancing With The Stars fans, I’m passionate about digital content creation and helping small business thrive with accessible marketing at Kestenbaum Creative.
