Gold & White Chevron Nails

I’ve tried many nail wraps (or nail stickers) in the past like Maybelline and Sally Hansen which I was not impressed with because they were difficult to put on. Essie was the drugstore brand that was the priciest and also the one that lasted the longest on my nails (10 days!).

Essie’s designs are some of the best I’ve seen ranging from lacy pink and white to glittery geometric shapes and their wraps are a breeze to stick on your nails. It’s crazy to think that nail stickers would last that long on me because I’m constantly slathering my hands in antibacterial gel, lotion and I’m a frequent hand washer too!

Whenever I saw these chevron nails wraps on Etsy they looked like the job of a meticulous nail ninja but it was a nail wrap which you only have to stick, press and go! I had to try them out!

For these particular nail wraps by So Gloss these are the steps to follow: (Process took me 15-20 minutes and remember, no dry time!)

1) You’ll need a nail file, buffer, nail polish remover (not pictured) and a hair dryer.

2) Prep your nails by buffing your nails lightly and swiping them with nail polish remover.

3) Measure your nail to the corresponding nail wrap of the same size (circular side goes on the cuticle side).

4) Once you’ve found your nail match, heat the nail wrap with your hair dryer for 10 seconds .

5) Peel off from straight side and apply circular side at base of cuticle.

5) Press down to get rid of wrinkles and air bubbles.

6) Discard remaining wrap on nail with a nail file using an up and down motion on your nail and TA DA! Nail wrap complete.

7) Repeat on each nail.

For all you lazy girls out there, consider doing just one accent nail on each hand and painting the rest of your nails white.

Would you wear this print on your nails?
