Documenting my outfits this past year and especially this past summer, has reaffirmed my love for fashion. A year ago, outfit posts were not a priority as they are now but you guys loooove when I post my affordable, colorful finds so I gave in. I love shopping online or certain department stores and discovered I don’t only love to be behind the camera but I also love to be in front of it striking a pose or two after finding an outfit. I’ve had fun rounding up my favorite outfits from the summer and I want Lipstick and Brunch to be a source of outfit inspiration so I hope I’ve transmitted that.
Call me vain for loving the camera but I used to be self-conscious about my body and now I try to rock everything I wear. I have also been on such a fashion frenzy and have had less beauty posts but I promise many more, including videos, in the upcoming weeks.
Some of them didn’t have their own post on the blog so I’m including them here!
I shamelessly wore this dress to summer weddings, events I hosted and events where I was a speaker. The shoes made up my summer uniform too! This dress also looked cute with a leather moto jacket on top for the chillier weather in Roche Harbor, Seattle. Full blog post here.
This romper was an uber-exciting Stitch Fix find! It was breezy and the jersey material made it easy to take off when visiting the restroom. Full blog post here.
No lie-I felt like a princess in this dress at the wedding in Lebanon we attended. There is no blog post for this whirlwind wedding we went to but I can tell you I found it here , it fits amazingly well, comes in more colors and is worth the price.
My favorite dress ever! I mean, it’s hot pink, do I need any more reasons? I also wore it to a wedding and it looked amazing.
My favorite wedding guest dress this summer was this stunner I found at Macy’s! I wore it to a wedding in Pennsylvania and hopefully I’ll wear it with a leather jacket and booties in Fall/Winter. Full blog post here.
This dress was a gift and I can’t believe it fit perfectly. I paired it with my fave chunky floral heels and Friday bag. Full blog post here.
Easy, breezy and I found it at my happy place: Target. Full blog post here.
Last but not least, This fun look is one I wore this combo many times as the summer ended. My blouse is still on sale under $13! Full post here.
Which was your favorite? Which do you think can be carried to Fall-Winter?
