I was never curious about golf or even contemplated the idea of playing it until my hubby took me to Topgolf. It was one of our best dates we’ve ever had because I was finally giving golf a chance!

So based on that experience I was thrilled that Topgolf invited me to host a golf and brunch date with 9 of my favorite Houston Bloggers! Some had never played golf which made them the perfect candidates for The First Timers Club, others were a little scared but we still had a blast because you don’t have to be great at golf to have a great time here!

But…What is Topgolf?

Top Golf is an all around entertainment venue that offers competitive golfing in an upscale and playful setting with music, climate-controlled bays and HDTV’s everywhere you turn. Their extensive menu includes made-from-scratch daily appetizers, entrees and desserts. They also have a yummy beverage menu which houses my favorite drink: “The Orange Dream” which is a mix of orange juice and whipped cream flavored vodka ( tastes like a Creamsicle).

The First Timer’s Club

The First Timer’s Club was created to overcome some of the hurdles people encounter when considering their first time (at Topgolf, of course). Many people think Topgolf is only for golfers.It’s also for moms, makes for a great double date spot, and apparently it’s also a hot spot for Houston bloggers.

Why should you join The First Timers Club at TopGolf? I don’t think you’ll need much convincing after checking out our photos and video below. If you do need some reasons I would definitely give it a try so you could try their delicious brunch, fruity cocktails, the golf play in an outdoor environment especially with the beautiful weather Houston has going on right now!  We had so much fun and the staff at Topgolf was top-notch (Thank you Ralph & Fatima).

I had golf cookies made for the girls and I wrote everyone’s names on them with a frosting pen as place settings.
