I’m finally feeling the Houston heat and I’m pulling out all my dresses, flowy shirts and heeled sandals and most importantly, even more bright colors! This dress was a steal found at Target and it fit so perfectly even though it was not a curvy or plus-size brand. It actually fits flowy and loose through the hips.
It was the effortless and bold choice for the event being held at Do or Dye Texas hosted by The Deeply Co, a traveling art, beauty and music show (which is in its first edition) with a special live performance by Jillian Edwards. The dress felt trendy and relaxed for a night of good music, beauty, bites and cocktails.
My glasses are from Henri Bendel which I got with my gift card from their recent 120th anniversary party at Galleria Mall. I have tried so many round frames and none of them have suited me until I found this pair. The trick? Look for round frames with a slight cat-eye like the ones I’m wearing for a more flattering fit to a round face/cheeks like mine.
