Last year was the first time I attended Fashion Houston. As a new beauty blogger in in Houston, I applied for an internship with Sarah Shah for a day at Fashion Houston and it was so much fun it really didn’t seem like work: taking pictures, posting non-stop on social media and most importantly I got to admire the talent of local artists and designers David Peck and Chloe Dao.
Experiencing the chaotic environment backstage as well as the adrenaline on the runway was such a high! This year, I also cover fashion on my blog so I’m looking forward to sharing all my fashion favorites from the upcoming Fashion Houston from November 18-21 at The Wortham Theater Center.

And of course…my tweets that made it on the giant social media screen! One of the tweets embellished on David Peck’s dramatic entrance with all his employees. He really emphasizes on his “Made Here” slogan because are his designs are proudly made in Houston.
I’m anxiously awaiting Fashion Houston this year and I can’t wait to see what everyone is going to wear, the runway from Tibi, Rebecca Minkoff’s designs (so excited to see this one!) and every exciting detail and backstage moment that I can capture!
