Meet My Intern/Assistant

After careful consideration and a few interviews I found my summer intern! And he happens to be my youngest brother, Daniel. I am 13 years older than him! He is a video, photography and social media whiz and I am so excited to be working with him this summer. I guess that now, instead of just seeing him as my creative little brother I admire all the stuff he can do at such a short age and wish that he turns all this talent into a business. I hope this is his start!

As his first paid internship (and mine too!) I hope he gains some business-savvy skills and blogging knowledge to use in his future. I hope you all enjoy the content we are creating because he knows exactly how to turn my sparkly unicorn thoughts into reality!

I decided to interview him so you can meet this young creative mind!

1) What do you plan on studying in college/university?

Something related to film–maybe multimedia production. (Daniel is graduating high-school in one year.)

2) What do you hope to gain from this internship?

I hope to broaden my knowledge on blogging, photography, meeting all the people you meet and going to all your events–it’s so much fun!

3) How has the internship been so far (it’s been 3 weeks)?

Fun but challenging because it’s hard to work with your sister sometimes.

4) Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I would love to be working as a freelance videographer/photographer with magazines or on a film as part of the production crew.

5) Is there anyone you admire in the film/photography industry that you would love to meet and why?

Photographer Steven Klein because he has amazing editorial shoots and videos under his belt. His short films are awesome and they have a purpose. (On a side note, did you know Steven Klein worked on a collaboration with NARS Cosmetics?)

6) Any famous person you would love to work with one day?

Lady Gaga definitely. Maybe Kanye West, he’s crazy creative, he has a clothing line, he’s a director and he’s married to Kim Kardashian.
