Review: Trader Joe’s Body Scrubs

Nicole | January 13, 2015

I’ve always loved getting prosecco and salads at Trader Joe’s but I didn’t know they had delicious yummy body products. I got a pack of three body scrubs this Christmas and immediately tried them all out in the shower. Check our my video review!

Loved the review!! I have a pack I was going to give away tomorrow, but now I’m going to try them tonight instead!! FYI, they are $7.99!! Question, what do you use to apply them, just your hands or some sort of sponge? Also, do you totally take it off with water while in the shower? Thanks for the review!!

I just use my hands to apply them since there are grainy but I guess gloves are good too, maybe to polish your legs a little before tanning. I do take off the scrub with water in the shower but I always pat dry with my towel so I don’t remove any oils left behind and these can sink into my skin. Enjoy the scrubs! They are wonderful!

I loved your video! So question! After exfoliating if the scrub contains natural oils do you moisturize? or is that overkill? also Wondering what you think of vitamin E oil serum for your face??/

For the sea salt scrub I don’t moisturize afterwards, I just spray a little bit of perfume so the scent stays on me longer. I do moisturize after using the other two scrubs. Vitamin E Oil Serum? I would have to look more into it. I know people that use it and love it and I have tried oil serum before going to bed but don’t wear it regularly unless my skin is feeling really dry.
